AGEM Index decreases 9.3 percent in March 2025

(Washington).- The report presented by the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), shows that in March 2025 there was a fall of 9.3% with declines in all 12 companies analysed.

The AGEM Index fell by 164.88 points to 1,615.74 in March 2025, a 9.3 percent decline from the prior month. Compared to one year ago, the index rose 32.6 percent, or 396.82 points. During the latest month, each of the 12 AGEM Index companies reported stock price decreases, which resulted in 12 negative contributions to the AGEM Index.
 
The largest negative contributor to the monthly index was Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL), whose 11.0 percent decrease in stock price led to a 75.59-point loss to the index. Meanwhile, Light & Wonder Inc. (NASDAQ: LNW) saw its stock price decrease by 22.3 percent, leading to a 49.37-point decrease for the index.
 
The industry stock performances were among a broader decline for all three major U.S. stock indices amid uncertainty over federal tariff and trade policies. The NASDAQ fell by 7.4 percent over the month, while the S&P 500 experienced a 5.4 percent dip. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 4.2 percent from January.
